Pulling your agency data from Vertafore AMS360

Updated September 30, 2026

Short answer: You need a policy history that includes cancellations, and premium and commission by carrier by month. Ask Vertafore AMS360 support for an export with the fields below — or send them the request at the bottom of this page. Customer names aren't needed.

Vertafore's public AMS360 help lists several standard reports that cover part of what's needed. A standard book-of-business report usually shows what's in force today — you'll still need history with cancellations for retention, so ask support how to include them.

What to ask Vertafore AMS360 support for

  1. A policy / transaction history covering January 1 three years ago through the most recent date available. It must include:
    • A unique policy or customer ID (names are not needed — de-identified is fine)
    • Carrier and product / line of business
    • Written premium and agency commission
    • Effective date and expiration date
    • Transaction type: new business, renewal, rewrite, endorsement, cancellation
    • Status
    • Cancellations and non-renewals — not just the policies in force today
If it will only export active policies, ask for the same report as of twelve months ago too.
  2. Premium and commission by carrier, by month — last two complete years and year to date, with commission income and agency fee income shown separately.
  3. Written confirmation that your full book and its history can be exported (item 13).

What Vertafore publishes about reports

Vendor help pages checked 2026-09-30. Reports, names and menus vary by version and license — if what you see is different, ask support for the fields below rather than a specific report.

Reports in Vertafore AMS360 that cover part of this

Named exactly as the source names them. Versions and licenses differ, so use the names to start the conversation with support, not as a promise of what your screen shows.

  • Transaction: Shows "specific transactions for specific policies, or ... a list of policies with a specific transaction"; filter on "New business, Renewal, Policy Change" and cancellations; "One, Multiple, or All transaction types." (help.vertafore.com)
  • Production Analysis: Uses Billed Premium and Billed Fees & Taxes (per Vertafore's AMS360 premiums field guide). (help.vertafore.com)
  • Cancellation: Vertafore help page titled "Report: Cancellation". Vertafore's premiums guide lists it as using the Cost of Insurance field. (help.vertafore.com)
  • Broker Business Summary: Uses Billed Premium and Billed Fees & Taxes (named in Vertafore's AMS360 premiums field guide). (help.vertafore.com)
  • Lost Business Report: Vertafore Reports help page titled "Lost Business Report". Kite also references the AMS360 "lost business report". (help.vertafore.com)

Getting cancellations and history, not just today's book

The Transaction report can be filtered to cancellation transactions alongside new business and renewal, so it gives transaction history rather than just today's in-force book. Vertafore also publishes a separate "Report: Cancellation" and a "Lost Business Report" (Vertafore Reports). (help.vertafore.com)

How Vertafore AMS360 exports

The Transaction report has a CSV export with "columns for transaction details, policy information, customer data, premium amounts, and personnel assignments" and can be run detailed or summarized. (help.vertafore.com)

About Vertafore AMS360

AMS360 is the AMS that Vertafore's AgencyZoom names as a direct integration ("Connects seamlessly with agency management systems like AMS360 and QQCatalyst"). It also pairs with a separate Vertafore Reports / "My Agency Reports" product that has its own Book of Business, Cancellation, Retention and Lost Business reports. (vertafore.com)

Copy-and-send request

Send this to support as-is. It asks for the output, not a particular screen, so it works whatever version you run.

Hi Vertafore AMS360 support,

I need two exports from our agency's data and want to make sure I get the right reports:

1) A policy / transaction history covering January 1 three years ago through the most recent date available. It must include:
  - A unique policy or customer ID (names are not needed — de-identified is fine)
  - Carrier and product / line of business
  - Written premium and agency commission
  - Effective date and expiration date
  - Transaction type: new business, renewal, rewrite, endorsement, cancellation
  - Status
  - Cancellations and non-renewals — not just the policies in force today
If the system can only export active policies, please also run the same report as of 12 months ago.

2) Premium and commission by carrier, by month, for the last two complete years and year to date, with commission income and agency fee income shown separately.

Customer names are not needed; IDs are fine. Excel or CSV works best.
Can you tell me which report(s) produce this, or run it for us? We'd also like written confirmation that our full book and its history can be exported.

Thank you.

Don't have all of it?

Send what you have. Partial data is better than none — we'll tell you exactly what's still missing. See the full checklist or start a confidential conversation.
